🌍🚀 Launching AQUAPONICS 4.0 – Circular Aquaponics Hubs EU

I’m excited to share that we are advancing AQUAPONICS 4.0 – Circular Aquaponics Hubs EU, a European initiative promoted by Fresh Water Farms Europe 🇪🇺 , designed to scale next-generation circular aquaponics systems for sustainable, resilient, and climate-smart food production.

This project builds on EU-validated technical excellence (TRL 6–8) and brings together a strong international consortium across research, industry, policy, and innovation. Our goal is to deploy industrial aquaponics hubs that integrate IMTA (fish, plants, algae, bivalves), SWIMS waste-to-biofertilizer technology, and smart monitoring, enabling near-zero-waste nutrient cycles and reduced water, fertilizer, and carbon footprints.

With 30% co-investment committed by partners and 70% currently being raised through InvestEU and institutional capital, we are now transitioning from validated concept to large-scale implementation and market deployment.
